Nobuhiko Kambo
Nobuhiko started his career with Nippon Life Insurance, one of the largest insurance companies in the world, where he gained experience on corporate finance and investment. (AUM he handled was JPY170 billion) He was seconded to a local bank in crisis which suffered from bad loan and he formulated a 5-year restructuring plan and successfully implemented the plan. He was deeply involved in all aspects of management including strategy, marketing and finance. After 12 years at Nippon Life, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers(PwC) where he led cross-border M&A and business regeneration projects.
He set up Serendir Inc in 2015 and became Managing Partner. Currently active in advising on global expansion strategy and execution to companies in Kansai area. As of now, he has made 150+ business trips to outside of Japan (about 40 times to the USA, 40 to Europe and 70 to Asia) and visited 53 countries including all EU15.
Project Experience
・As a lead advisor to an US investment fund, successfully executed the acquisition of a Japanese leading condominium development company (Investment size JPY150 billion)
・Created entry strategy for a leading construction equipment company to Aisa(Thailand, Vietnam, India and Indonesia)
・Advised a trading company ways to manage and control its Sri Lankan auto-finance subsidiary
・Formulated and implemented marketing strategy on US/European market for equipment company
